Sports City Layout Revised: What It Means for Buyers in Noida Sector 150
The Times of India reported that Noida Authority cleared a revised layout for Plot SC-02 in Sports City with larger sports facilities, and gave conditional occupancy certificates to four housing projects. Buyers in those projects may get closer to possession, though the sports amenities are still plans.

Illustrative What happened?
The Times of India reported that Noida Authority has approved a revised master layout plan for Plot SC-02 at Sports City, Sector 150, which Lotus Greens Constructions will develop. About 70% of the nearly 300-acre project area is earmarked for sports use.
According to the paper, the plan includes a four-acre tennis centre with two championship courts and four practice courts, a 2.9-acre indoor hall for gymnastics, squash, badminton and other games, and a second 2.9-acre swimming centre with three pools and a medical centre. A nine-hole golf course with a putting green is set for 45.8 acres, against the 24 acres planned when the layout was first cleared about a decade ago. An Eldeco-backed cricket academy on 5.71 acres would have an ICC-standard field and rooms for 60-70 players.
The report said building plans for the plot were approved on June 9, after the developer filed the revised layout on Jan 2. Noida Authority also issued conditional occupancy certificates to four housing projects in Sports City, by Brick Rise Developers, Ace Infracity, Land Kart Builders and Samridhi Infra Square. The approvals follow the Supreme Court's Nov 24, 2025 order. Separately, Logix Infra Developers, 3C Green Developers and ATS Homes have filed revised layouts that are open to public objections.
Which sectors are affected?
- Sports City, Sector 150, Noida
- Sectors 78-79 and 152, Noida (pending revised layouts)
- Noida residential projects awaiting occupancy certificates
Potential impact
The revised layout gives the Sports City pitch a firmer base, since a dense sports and amenity offering is what sets the project apart. Larger facilities can support resale interest and rental appeal over time, but the effect on prices is uncertain. Our city-wide average of 11200 per sq ft is a general reference, not a Sports City figure.
The facilities are approved plans, not finished buildings, and each is tied to a named consortium partner. Delivery timing is not given in the report. Conditional occupancy certificates are a step toward possession, not the end of it, so buyers should confirm what conditions apply and when registry can happen.
