Who we are

The PropertyNivesh News Desk is the news team of PropertyNivesh.in, an independent research and advisory site for residential property in India and the UAE. The desk works alongside our project research team, whose price, distance and developer data every news analysis draws on. We are not a listing portal and we do not act as an agent for any developer โ€” see About PropertyNivesh.

Every story, research page and guide is edited by Rakesh Mahajan, Editor of PropertyNivesh.in, who signs it off before it is published and is responsible for corrections.

What we publish

We publish a story only if it changes something concrete for buyers, sellers, tenants, investors or existing owners: prices, rents, demand, costs, supply, approvals, possession, legal risk or access to a specific place. Big news without a property consequence is left out.

Every article follows the same structure so readers can compare stories: what happened, which sectors are affected, distances from the projects we track, current asking prices, the potential impact, projects to watch, and a “why this matters” box for buyers, investors, owners and tenants.

Where our news comes from

We follow local city desks and property sections first โ€” they report development-authority decisions, RERA orders, land allotments and road and metro works before anyone else โ€” and established national property and infrastructure publishers after them.

Every article names its source: the publication, the original headline, the date and the web address of the report. We do not copy or reproduce the source article; our text is our own analysis, and readers who want the original account can look it up from the credit at the end of each story. We only read publishers whose sites permit it.

How we check accuracy

  • Every number in an article must appear in the source report or in PropertyNivesh's own research data. A draft with any other figure is rejected.
  • Prices are asking prices from our project research pages, not transaction prices, and stalled projects are excluded from price tables.
  • Distances come from our research pages. We do not say a project is “near” or “close to” anything unless a sourced distance supports it.
  • A project is named in a story only if the source names it or it sits in the specific area the story covers.
  • City and locality tags are kept only when the source report actually names the place.
  • Wording that repeats the source's sentences is rejected, so each article is written in our own words.

How an article is produced

Articles are drafted with automated writing tools, including AI language models, working only from the source report and our research data. A draft is published only after it passes every check listed above; a draft that fails is rewritten, and a story that still fails after three attempts is dropped. Choosing which stories qualify follows the publishing rule in “What we publish”.

Independence

No developer, broker or advertiser can pay for coverage, choose which stories we run or review an article before it is published. We do not publish sponsored news, press releases or developer advertorials written as news. Our project verdicts are set by the research desk under our methodology, and news coverage does not change them by itself.

Corrections

Every article has a “Report an issue” button. When a report shows an error of fact, we correct the article and update its “Last updated” date. You can also write to us through the contact page.
