Sikanderpur Traffic Plan: What It Means for Buyers in Gurgaon

What happened?

ET Realty reported that GMDA will study whether Sikanderpur should get an underpass or an elevated corridor. The authority plans to bring in a traffic consultant and use the study to decide the right grade-separated solution.

According to The Times of India, GMDA is also preparing a full redevelopment plan for IFFCO Chowk with NHAI. That plan is expected to look at traffic flow, pedestrian safety, utilities and infrastructure upgrades. The same report said GMDA is also considering a footbridge near the malls on MG Road and other roadside fixes.

The report matters because Sikanderpur sits where traffic from IFFCO Chowk, Golf Course Road, Cyber City and the Mehrauli side converges. But the current stage is only feasibility and planning, not execution.
