Ghaziabad Road Plan: What It Means for Prices on GT Road

What happened?

MagicBricks reported that Ghaziabad’s Urban Infrastructure Fund Committee has approved works worth ₹66.73 crore, with the largest item being a four-lane elevated road on GT Road. The road is planned for about 2 km and is estimated at ₹200.23 crore overall, with funding to come partly from the Urban Infrastructure Fund and partly from a loan.

According to MagicBricks, the same round of approvals also covers an underpass at the LC-3C crossing and around 30 open gyms in parks and group housing pockets across GDA areas. The underpass is meant to replace the existing rail-level crossing near the new Ghaziabad railway station and LTH crossing, which the report says sees about 22,993 vehicles a day.
